…and after quite some time outside of the Burg, I have decided to return and do a bit of regular blogging on UPFRONT. By way of introduction, I will start with my desert island neccessities. Johnny Depp (naturally), but lately…perhaps Dexter. Spaghetti and/or sushi (who says I can’t have both?) The bible, because it would keep me occupied a lot longer than John Grisham’s The Client and do I really want some weather beaten copy of Stephen King’s Pet Cemetary while I am living on a desert island eight feet by twelve feet and eating everything that can hop skip skitter or fly (including Johnny). Genesis’s The Lamb lies down on Broadway, David Bowie’s Thin White Duke, and I am still auditioning for that third elusive album that will see me through eternity. Your suggestions are welcome. Stay tuned possums. It’s going to be a bumpy ride. xoxox

“After a lifestyle of debauchery I now spend most my time working out on the bottom line, but due south it continues to go!” It was me wot said it.

I deem, without a shadow of doubt, Led Zeppelin’s ‘Since I’ve Been Loving You’ as my all time desert island track… It inspires me to do anything – including cleaning! That makes it quality – no?

Musically, I’m totally unpretentious… I’ve a pretty healthy vinyl collection which includes everything from ‘Dad Rock’ (i.e. music my Dad introduced me too) through Indie, Ambient and onto Hip Hop. I’ve had a long term love affair with Bowie (69-77 years), with one regret – that’s not having been alive when he was hanging out at The Three Tuns (now sadly a mews off overpriced Barrett-esque apartments) in the NHAM (that would be BeckeNHAM – where I adolescen-tid). I’ve waded through many different ‘genres’ over the years and remained friends with most; although I do of course cringe at some aspects of my collection!

I couldn’t possible list all the music I love but without question Plan B’s bootleg ‘Paint it Blacker’ and The National’s ‘Boxer’ are perhaps my two top continuous encore albums of 2007. Just so you know what you’re working with!

I’ve a love of all things Sci-Fi: I can practically recite the entire script off Dune! Am in total agreement that Jar Jar Binks sucks; and only accept the Ewoks as plausible and passable cause ultimately they do help defeat the Empire! Me thinks Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (the book) was pure genius. And when they create The Foundation - I sooo wanna be hanging out there!

I love movies like I like my steak – bloody! Pointless or not so pointless violence reigns in my jurisdiction. This can cause problems at the girl’s pyjama-night sleepovers but it’s cool for those boy’s nights in! NB: Don’t consider that a division of the sexes.

I’m registered myopic, 5ft 9” faux blonde with a stringent exercise regime and eating plan. But somewhat fail on all health counts with my persuasion for the vino collapso variety in white.

My resume reads like a series of stops on a underground map – having not yet quite decided which station to disembark at… that said I’ve always remained on the creative line and consider that a circular.

I love travel, I like danger, I’ll try anything once (within reason)!

I spent most my life in sauf-east London and am an ex-convent girl that steered clear of church and early breeding. I’m spending these latter parts of my current life in Luxembourg – I’m still avoiding church and haven’t as yet bred!

I believe life is constant renovation – although like most DIYing it takes a bloody long time to get around to it. This ‘blog’ is yet another chapter in my mission to rewrite my self-conceived epitaph reading “achieved everything, accomplished nothing!”

I’m not a writer… I just found myself here!

(P.S. always for hire if you need somebody to gatecrash a corporate function with free champers and tasty canapés)
